Deciding where to 'place' our jewellery on the net has been a big decision. In order to keep our costs down (to us and therefore to our customers) meant no lavish and glossy productions. After all, we don't want to sell using 'smoke and mirrors', but through honest. straightfoward means - direct to our customers. We explored a few possibilities and have put our faith in the new UK and Ireland media craft hub ehive. We were lucky to get in just after the launch and are busy uploading items, almost as we speak. The trick now will be to network the site and build to the point where we have a strong national and international client base, to match the local one that is emerging. Things are looking good and customers seem pleased with how quickly we can respond to their requests for different styles of jewellery. Sadie has just created some fab necklaces with the new trend of toggle fastenings visible at the front. Everybody's loving our jewellery and can't believe we can sell our one off designs at such good prices - hand crafted sterling silver earrings, in a gift box, for just £5!!! and that's jut the start. A fun and girly night with all your friends etc, which saves you money, gives you commission and free gifts - a winning formula so far, at least. We were quite worried the the threat of recession would stop us in our tracks, but it seems that the opposite is true. Thankfully our customers are recognising the great deals we offer. The hostess vouchers are a roaring success and we were right to introduce them - our diary is now creaking at the seams and turnover is building.
