IG Estates is an independent consultancy that caters for all your land and property development requirements. The company can advise on all uses of land and property, but specialises in residential development. IG Estates has an unparallelled track record in securing planning permission for development far exceeding the national average success rate, particularly at appeal. In short, IG Estates is the only point of contact that you will need for advice on any town planning or property matter. The company also acts for clients that purchase land, commercial property and houses with funds readily available for the right opportunities.

Town Planning

IG Estates offers a comprehensive town planning and development service. Managing Director, Ian Gidley is a chartered town planner with 20 years experience in the profession. IG Estates is therefore uniquely placed to provide town planning advice from a commercial perspective and will find the most economically viable solution in the ‘real' world and maximize the value of your asset. Whilst IG Estates specialises in residential development, we are capable of advising on any town planning matter. Services include advising on housing developments, viability appraisals, enforcement action, certificate of lawful uses or developments, planning appeals, site appraisals, strategic land, listed buildings, S.106 Agreements, conversions/change of use.

Land and Property

We are particularly interested in land or property with land, with either no planning permission or outline planning permission. IG Estates works closely with a development partner that specialises in purchasing such sites quickly on an unconditional or conditional basis. Land within urban areas or large villages is preferred. Contaminated land is also of interest as we have the expertise to deal with such issues. We also have a number of reliable clients looking for sites with detailed planning permission for between 1 and 500 plots.

Local Community

IG Estates takes its social responsibility seriously and tries to work with local communities where possible. It has also sponsored the local football team 'Crick Colts' in the recent past. A major project that IG Estates is heavily involved in voluntarily is Crick Sports Field Project. Planning permission has been secured for the new facility off Yelvertoft Road, Crick and will include natural turf pitches, an all-weather pitch, tennis courts, cricket pitch, a pavilion and car parking for 48 cars. Phase 1 comprising the car park, senior football pitch and 9 v 9 pitch has been completed at a cost of £250,000 funded by Sport England, Crick Parish Council, Daventry District Council and Football Foundation grants as well as local fund raising.
