Fortunately after booking a Route 66 Groupon holiday with this unprofessional company I was denied boarding by KLM after they resold my seat as I arrived slightly late after being really ill en-route. Thank heavens! I found out the reasons why I couldn't get the advertised 'convertible' was owing to the fact 7 inches of snow are expected in Chicago in March. Also many attractions along Route 66 are closed down. No wonder this company have to pay a chunk of their cash to Groupon as they are obviously desperate for customers and I am not surprised. KLM refunded this bunch my airpassenger duty of £314.00 but the owner refused to refund it as I dared to complain. He refused to answer even though he has a duty to do so under the ABTA code of practice he signed up to. He then said we should go 'face to face' on 'Judge Rinder' as it would make a 'very good TV programme'. Most unprofessional company I have ever come across in my life. No wonder they are desperate for customers by trying to flog their holidays on daily deal sites. More recently they sent me a bill for £1500.00 for their 'time' dealing with my complaint and threatened to send bailiffs to my home if I refused to pay it. ABTA have now referred them to their legal department due to the 'seriousness' of their threats. Hopefully ABTA will deal with them in a just way.
