The origins of Ivel Funeral Service date back to 1985, when Gordon first became involved with the provision of funeral vehicles, which progressed to becoming involved as a Funeral Director and when Graham joined the business the name Ivel Funeral Service was adopted.
As a small independent business we are able to provide funeral arrangements that are more affordable than many other nearby funeral directors many of whom, although they still trade under a long established familiar local name, are in fact now part of a large national chain with expensive overheads that reflect in the prices they charge.

As members of the local community we take pride in what we do, providing a professional and dignified service to mark the life of your loved ones. With many years' experience, we can provide support and guidance to you at this difficult time.

We strive to go the extra mile to provide an honest and reliable service. We deal with the day-to-day running of the company, working closely with you to ensure all aspects of the service meet your specific requirements. We are completely transparent about all costs so that there are no surprises or ‘hidden extras' to worry about.
