WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN!
13th August 2015
Having celebrated its best ever AS and A2 results last year, Joseph Chamberlain College is delighted that its students have done even better this year. Once again, the A level pass rate is 99% and the AS pass rate is over 90%. In the vast majority of A level subjects, the pass rate was 100% and all BTEC courses had 100% pass rate. We have seen a further increase in the number of students receiving high grades A-B this year, with more students than ever gaining places at their first choice universities. A record number of students this year will be joining the most competitive universitiy courses.

Among our outstanding results are Fazila Hussain who got three A* grades in English, History and Politics. Fazila, who came to us from Swanshurst School, has now secured a place to study Law at The University of Birmingham. Abdul Raheem, who came to us from Golden Hillock School, was awarded A*, A, A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and will also be going to The University of Birmingham to study Chemical Engineering. Mohsin Adnaan, a former student of Park View School received A*, A, A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and has secured a place at London School of Economics to study Business Mathematics and Statistics. Sabina Akhtar, having joined us from Selly Park Girls' School, was awarded A*, A, A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and will be going to The University of Birmingham to study Mathematics.

Tony Day, Deputy Principal at the College, commented, ‘Once again, I am so proud of all our students and staff at Joseph Chamberlain College. We did so well last year and it is simply fantastic to have exceeded this high record with this year's results. This means that we are sending more students than ever to the most competitive university courses in the country. We are delighted to see so many of our students do so well and know that their future careers are now far more secure.'
