About Us

KALAKRUTI DANCE ACADEMY was established by MISS RUCHIKA in Hyderabad India in 1998. Soon the academy got recognition nationally and internationally for its authoritative work on exposition of traditional and Indian classical dances.
RUCHIKA is acclaimed as an artist, performer, teacher and choreographer. Her dance performances are both beautiful and significant. 20 years in the dance field have yielded constant results by putting so much efforts to the chosen art forms. Dedication to become an artist of technical and emotive excellence under the able guidance of GURUS:

About Us

She has received several awards, prizes, certificates and facilitation in recognition of her excellence. Apart from performing, she is also an accomplished dance teacher. She started her first Dance School “Kalakruti Dance Academy” in India, and now in the U.K, to spread famous Indian culture and heritage through dance. She is well known for her patience and being extremely student friendly. Every student gets her personal attention. Her creative choreography brings out the dance themes alive with beautiful expressions and her own unique elegant steps. Her students performed (Add Link) at various fund raising events and also won several prizes in several competitions and talent shows. She had organised many summer camps, workshops, school annual days and other school functions in India. She had a great opportunity to organize an event in Indra Vidya Niketan High School in India for the visit off Honourable President of India (Add Link), Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
