Stayed for two nights in their Executive Double Room which was elegant, comfortable and extremely clean. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast absolutely delicious. A good base to explore the potteries!

Testimonials

We had really high expectations from the many positive reviews on tripadvisor, but our lovely hosts Julie and David easily surpassed our expectations. We felt like a part of the family from the moment we entered Kenwood Guest House. It's all the little things that make this B&B so special. From the complimentary water, tea and biscuits in our room, to the helpful advice on what to do and where to go in Stoke-on-Trent, we really couldn't ask for more. The breakfast is the best full English breakfast I've ever had with many local and fresh products. For vegetarians they offer delicious homemade vegetarian sausages and for my mum, who isn't allowed to eat any dairy products, our hosts even bought soy milk and took extra care to prepare the food without milk and butter. I can also recommend the oatcakes which are a regional speciality. Julie even gave us a small history lesson about the background of the original Staffordshire oatcakes. ;-) Every room is individually decorated, we stayed in a Victorian type of room. The room itself and bathroom were tidy and super clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Our advice: If you want to stay for one or several nights in Stoke-on-Trent, Kenwood Guest House is the place to go to! It offers even more service on a personal level than a five star hotel and is perfect value for money. Julie and David are the loveliest and most helpful hosts you can wish for. We will always remember our stay there and will definitely come back if we happen to be in Staffordshire again.

Tripadvisor

We stayed here for our second time as a base whilst visiting our daughter at Staffs University. One year on and the venue has improved over an already high standard. New decorations are in place with more planned, give a homely feel as you walk through the door to be greeted warmly by your hosts. Superbly comfortable bedroom, lovely and warm, and another excellent, freshly cooked to order breakfast. Honestly you can't go wrong if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the Stoke on Trent area
