don't go there!!!!

A terrible experience, don't go there!!! We paid David Haley of Kitchen style £24000 in July 2103 for a fitted kitchen. Our first mistake was to pay at his request up front. The units were fine, the fitting an abomination. The fitter left half way despite being paid and nearly 6 months later we were without a kitchen. David agreed to fit it himself "for free". Er we'd paid once already. He is NOT a fitter. If it could be glued it was and all the glued parts have since fell off. My husband has fixed 3 drawer fronts and a unit that wasn't even screwed to the wall. Numerous other small parts have fallen off as well. I can show photographs. He ruined 4 glass doors after assuring me they could be altered. He then tried to pass a weird design off on us to cover up his error and not have to replace said doors. I asked to change another pair of doors and would pay for new ones. What he didn't say was the originals were ruined. I intended to keep them as spares and was expected to pay for 2 sets despite having only 1. He just didn't understand why we wouldn't! The sink has leaked from day 1 and is now leaking from under a glued on plinth. It was requested NOT to glue on the plinths. We will have to replace the plinth. The tap has swivelled from week one and we need a new one. After 6 months we just wanted David Haley out of the house. I spoke to him saying my husband would finish the work and he reimburse us for the work. As he is he he totally non confrontational he agreed and left at once. He later denied this conversation by e mail. David Haley is a sleaze ,unprofessional and would never recommend him. He will try and squeeze out every penny to his own advantage, go back on his word and I think personally, he's dishonest. My husband is a builder and has never been called back to bad workmanship and would never treat or leave his customers the way David Haley will. An expensive lesson learned as we are still putting the kitchen right and it will never be as it should have been for£24000. Avoid his company at all costs. I wouldn't give them a star only I had to
