MENTORING & EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE

KMS is a Thanet based company working in partnership with schools, local authorities, fostering agencies and families in need of additional support with their young people.

Through intervention and prevention our mentoring service provides emotional support and guidance to young people in a recreational environment. Through one to one mentor support we aim to prevent placement breakdowns and help young people rebuild relationships and regain positive focus.

Our educational service supports young people who may be struggling with education from an academic or behavioural viewpoint or may not even be accessing education at all. We provide an alternative curriculum and specialise in working with children and young people with a variety of challenges and complex needs. Through our education service each young person has a bespoke and differentiated educational programme to meet their needs along with opportunities of expanding the learning experience into creative, practical, life skills and vocational subjects

Our service has proven successfully in playing a major supportive role for children and young people who might be struggling socially and emotionally at school, amongst peers or at home. KMS are now offering entry and level 1 qualifications in vocational training including construction. A full list of course options are available upon request.
