Lovely gifts and flowers
Popped in here to pick up some flowers for a friend. Amy made up a beautiful bouquet while I was waiting. The problem was I then starting browsing the lovely gifts and cards.........got quite a few really lovely items, including a smashing little bird bath. Only bad point is parking is tricky so I parked in the town and walked round.

Gorgeous flowers!
I was extremely pleased with the service Amy at Lavener's Blue Floristry gave us for our wedding flowers. Found Amy so friendly and helpful making one of the many things that needed to be organised a pleasure. I wasn't 100% sure of the flowers I wanted or the design, but Amy offered brilliant suggestions and felt she really captured our theme. Amy also came up with a lovely flower gift for the mother's that could be kept as a lasting reminder of the day. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lavender's Blue Floristy for any of your flower needs! Plus, I love the little quaint shop she has and could have easily spent a small fortune on the little gifts she sells there too! Thank you Amy!

Amazing Florist with Amazing Flowers!
5 *'s all around for lavenders blue floristry! I was amazed, impressed, gob-smacked and astonished all at once with my wedding flowers! Lavenders Blue was recommended to me by a friend and i owe that friend big time because they recommended the best florist in England! I had an unusual choice of colours for my wedding and i took in to the shop a colour palette of all the key elements to my wedding and gave Lavenders Blue free reign to provide me with the best flowers they could, and they did!! On time delivery and all very well organised! Worked within my budget and i still had everything i could ever have dreamed of. The Thank You bouqets lasted for a very long time and smelled divine. Very highly recommended, dont miss out on Lavenders Blue creativity and knowledge of flowers, weddings and brides!! Thank You again! Deanna x

Everything we wanted our flowers to be!!!
We were absolutely delighted with the flower displays that Amy provided for our wedding. I met with Amy to discuss our specific ideas and she immediately understood every detail that I was attempting to describe! Amy was so flexible to our unusual requests for example using all of the items we collected, in order to bring our ideas alive! Amy is a very talented florist and personally so wonderful to work with due to her patient, calm and reassuring manner especially in moments of stressful wedding planning! Amy made a really special and valued contribution to our day. Thank you Amy!

.."Sheer Delight"...
Dear Amy, We would just like to express our sheer delight at the flowers for our wedding reception in May this year. Consisdering that we actually never met face to face prior to the wedding and we lived a considerable distance away, you demonstrated to have the same vision as myself in our telephone conversations and knew exactly the look I was trying to achieve! After several agonising discussions with florists around Gloucester, I knew for sure I had found the ONE for our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for you, even when it came to sourcing various items for me! Your relaxed, friendly manner instantly put me at ease and your patience at the never ending ideas and phone calls from myself was faultless! On the day both of our visions came to fruition and were exactly what I had imagined...only even better! You had followed my theme perfectly and your attention to detail was impeccable! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend you to anyone as you have a wonderful talent. We wish you every success in the future and hopefully our paths will cross again!

Beautiful and unique
Amy is very professional and skilled at what she does, as well as having a natural artistic flair. Amy's brilliant flowers transformed our plain function room in to a beautiful wedding venue. She not only provided gorgeous flowers, but also decorated windows with muslin swags, foliage and hurricane lanterns. I was worried about lots of things prior to the day, but felt confident that the flowers would be perfect, which they were. Lots of people commented on them and how appropriate they were to me. I would strongly recommend Lavenders Blue to anyone.

Excellent, friendly and funky!
Superb local florist. Really friendly and helpful and she has lots of really good ideas. Good value too- we had a bouquet delivered for a friend and it was massive!

Beautiful flowers with good service
Beautiful flowers exactly as i asked for. All table decorations, buttonholes,corsages and girls circlets brilliantly done. Good service which is hard to find these days and one which Amy should be proud of. Excellent value as well so all round very pleased. Thankyou

Excellent.
Excellent service and flowers as usual. I have used this florist for at least a year now for both personal gifts and events and I can say the customer service is second to none. The flowers also last a long time, which I found is not the case with some other florists.

Excellent wedding flowers
Brilliant all round, Amy was very helpfull from day one, she did everything i asked her, everyone commented on how lovely my wedding flowers were and they are still alive today,so not many flowers are still alive 3 weeks on. Would recommend to anyone

Response; disappointed bride
Dear Catherine, I am deeply saddened to see your review, and have re-sent feedback regarding your complaint by email. I would of course be happy to discuss your comments confidentially, but for the benefit of other readers would like to respond to the points in your review. All of the blooms used in your bouquets were listed in the itemised descriptions we discussed together leading up to your wedding. These descriptions included both Anemones and Pussy Willow. The white flowers included in your bouquets were natural whites. I am confident that they were the whitest possible blooms that could have been obtained by any florist, but am very sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with them. I hope that despite your concerns about the shade of your flowers, you had a wonderful wedding day, and I wish you all the very best in your married life. Amy, Lavender's Blue.

Disappointed bride
Unfortunatley I havnt had the experiences of the other reviewers. We chose Lavenders blue (Amy Barnes) to provide our wedding flowers after meeting at her shop. Despite meeting, sending numerous emails containing pictures of what I wanted (and having several telephone conversations), the flowers were not what I had ordered. I wanted white/ivory flowers and specifically said I did not want the ones with the yellow tinge- which I ended up with.This meant the bouquets clashed with my dress and I couldnt use mine- very disappointed bride.The table arrangements, while pretty,were also this yellow colour and the buttonholes were totally wrong (huge and yellow when medium and white were requested). Also used two flowers I specifically said I did not like (anemones and pussy willow). But, to be honest, the worst thing is the lack of response to my email of complaint- absolutely nothing back- totally unprofessional, do not use if choosing what you want from your wedding flowers is important to you!
