Disgraceful!

We've been renting a property with Letmove for a couple of years.The house was great, but Letmove are disgraceful! Trying to get in touch with the company when we wanted something was impossible, but if they wanted something doing, then it was expected to be done immediately. We'd been in the property 9 months when they told us that our dog wasn't allowed to be there- she'd been with us when we moved in and Letmove knew about it, but then changed their minds. We had about 4 major repairs over the past couple of years, and each one took up to 6 months to get sorted. The shower was leaking and after reporting it several times, it went unfixed for months, causing water to leak into the kitchen. We we're expected to pay for the damage to the kitchen! We had 3 weeks without heating last winter as the boiler wasn't working properly. It was only when we threatened to with hold the rent that they did something about it. To add insult to injury, Letmove decided to terminate our tenancy without reason. Then when we had found somewhere else they charged us ridiculous prices for references and messed about doing them, causing us to have to rearrange our agreed moving date! Overall, I think Letmove are an absolute DISGRACE and will NEVER use them again. I would also discourage anyone else from using them. After reading all the previous reviews, it appears that Letmove seem to be good if you're a landlord, but not if you're the tenant.

Shambles and underhanded

They are very disorganised when it comes to dealing with requests and returning calls. We spent the day cleaning the flat before moving out and they still wanted to charge us for their standard "Sparkle Clean" product. I found out that they actually moved someone else in without cleaning the flat and Letmove said this was because the new tenant accepted the condition. They wanted to charge me for cleaning the flat in the future when the next tenant moves out in 6months+ Do not use this company

I have rented my property out for many years and used various other agents within the Wakefield area. I was unhappy with the current agent that was managing my property as they had not yet found me a tenant, my property had been on their market for around 2 weeks and not a single viewing had been carried out. I called letmove to arrange an valuation and was visited by a chap called Andrew who valued the house; he gave me a realistic figure and he was very professional and friendly. I signed the paperwork there and then as Letmove had a offer on in which you received 3 months free property management for new properties added. I took advantage of this as it would have saved me £150 meaning the set up fee of £99 hadn't cost me anything. Went into the office the next day with paperwork Leanne, Emma and Gill on the lettings desk extremely professional and friendly a very smiley bunch! I left my keys and property with them and let them work their magic, the very next day they called me to say a couple had viewed my property last night and had placed down a deposit! FANTIASTIC!!!! In less than 24 hours letmove.com had secured me a tenant and were putting them through the vetting process. 2 weeks later they moved in and had found me some lovely tenants who pay on time and we don't have any issues from them. Will most definitely use letmove again in the future and would recommend to any of my friends.

Having previously rented with letmove i was pleased with the service i recieved from them with most problems sorted quickly and efficiently. However, having had some more technical problems with them i find their professionalism unclear, either they understand the laws and regulations for tenancy agreements and present information falsly to their profit or they simply do not fully understand their profession.

I cannot praise Letmove.com enough for their superb service. We had 3 local letting agents view our property on the Tuesday so we could make an informed decision. We liked what we were told by Trudy (we also thought Trudy was brilliant, efficient and very professional) On the Wednesday we rang Letmove.com and arranged for Trudy to come the following day for us to complete the letting paperwork and for her to take pictures of our apartment. On Friday we received a call from Letmove.com to say they had 2 viewings for our apartment on Saturday morning, even though it wasn't actually on the market. Two prospective tenants arrived Saturday am, which was good because it meant we could "meet them" At 3.15 pm we received a call to say one couple had signed up , paid their deposit and wanted to move in on the 1st April!!!!! AMAZING. Within 72 hours we had a lovely young couple, whom we met and liked, signed up. I would most definitely recommend Letmove.com to anyone looking to rent out their property. You hear so many horror stories re renting out your property and to be fair we even thought of "shutting up the apartment" when we went abroad for 6 months, rather than risk getting the wrong tenant. However, Letmove.com's professional, efficient service has allayed all our fears and we look forward to a long and happy working relationship with them.

I have just recently let a property with letmove.com and i found their service to be fantastic! The lettings team were very professional and give out the correct infomation. The moving in process again went brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They always seemed to have a smile on their faces. After moving in our new home, we had a repair that needed looking at, i called the office and spoke to the property management department and had a call back the same day with an proposed time and day for an engineer to visit. I would recommend letmove.com to my family and friends and would use their services again in the future for. Thankyou for making my new move an pleasurable one.
