Manage Fire Risk

We are Liability Risk Services Ltd, a small risk consultancy based in Bury, Lancs offering fire management and associated fire risk services, including fire risk assessment. We specialise in practical, hands on fire risk advice, support and guidance and our clients appreciate our no-nonsense approach to fire risk management.

We will assist our clients to achieve a safe working environment in which the risks from fire are fully understood, minimised where possible and employees, visitors and members of the public will be safe from the effects of fire.


Our principal consultant is David Bannister, CMIOSH. David has extensive experience in fire risk management, having been previously employed in the insurance industry advising industrial and commercial customers on fire safety, fire prevention and how to minimise and control the risks to business and personnel from fires. For the past 10 years he has been operating as an independant risk consultant, providing both health and safety and fire risk management advice and support to his own clients. He has undertaken specialist training and education in fire risk assessment with Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.


We do not provide mountains of useless paperwork, nor will we advise additional work unless we believe it is in our clients best interest.

We are based in Bury, Lancashire and will carry out our fire risk managementwork across the North of England, North Wales and Southern Scotland and further afield if our clients wish us to do so. We are happy to work in all of these areas and beyond: Manchester, Stockport, Trafford, Salford, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Wigan, Liverpool, Merseyside, Lancashire, Rossendale, Cumbria, Cheshire, West Yorkshire, Whitefield, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Tottington, Ramsbottom, Heywood, Rawtenstall, Haslingden, Bacup. This is not an fully inclusive list and we will undertake work wherever our clients wish us to be.
