I specialize in the conservation and restoration of ceramics, china ornaments, porcelain figures, resin ornaments, glassware, glass ornaments and gilded objects. I qualified at Lincoln University, B.A. (Hons) Conservation and Restoration and am a member of ICON (Institute of Conservation). As a qualified Conservator I follow professional ethical guidelines using materials to museum standards. All work carried out is recorded and documented as ethically all treatments used must not cause damage to the object and must be as reversible as possible. I have worked on practical placement projects such as cleaning Roman mosaics, in situ, working on leather objects at a specialist Leather Conservation Centre and repaired ceramics for museums.
