Hello I am a 13 year old boy and I spent my junior school years In Meon. I would like to think I had a nice time there but that's far from the case. I suppose I should begin with year 3 when miss Linscot(current head teacher) accused me of making a racist comment. The boy said 'hey ginger nut' and referring to his hair I replied 'hey black nut'. This nearly permanently kicked me out of the school. Next we have year 4 now for this I blame myself because I was as a chIld angry about my parent’s separation and got Into a fight for no good reason. Like I said I blame myself, however this ONE Incident was blown out of proportion for the rest of my life at meon. Miss Linscot told my parents I needed a teaching assistant (TA) as at the time I was distracted easily this angered me further as they refereed to this as special needs and constantly treated me like an Idiot .Year 5 this particular Incident stuck out at me the most, I stopped to talk to my friend during the lesson as he was sad about his parents’ divorce, the teacher warned me 3 times but I felt It Important to speak this once, now normally teachers give out detentions for this, this teacher however ripped apart my maths certificate In front of the whole class. I believe this was where the bulling started by the teachers. sometimes I was bullied by the other pupils however whenever I went to tell other teachers they said simply 'what did you do to them ‘when I replied nothing they said 'I know your lying 'or even when they did believe me they simply told the bully not to do It again, that method was used every time. However when I did the same they called my dad immediately. All this added to my horrible experience at meon but by far year six was the worst. Also I should mention by this point they playground was so small and hard they banned running(playing).I was constantly bullied by teachers (miss lee) my teacher was the only nice teacher I had ever met at meon. I remember one time a boy punched me IN front of many people In retaliation I kicked him. For this I ended up In a two hour detention the other kid walked free. When I complained about this Miss Linscot said (with a smile) 'you should not have hit him back'. And finally the worst thing that happened to me In meon a boy who had bullied me since the beginning of the year (I had learned not to tell the teacher as It got me nowhere) was hurting a year 3 I pushed him to the wall the dInner lady ran out and said to me ‘your disgusting why do you think the school hates you I hope miss Linscot kicks you out forever' for this I was banned from the playground for the rest of meon My dad wrote this In reply: I have noticed a pattern In which cam Is getting In more trouble than the bully you have my full support to punish him when he has done wrong but when It was equally the bully’s fault a cannot help you (this Is just what I remember from It) When my granddad came In he lost his temper as every day I came home from meon I was sad she just told my dad he was grumpy. 3 years past I am now top of my class In science and second to top maths everyone likes me and I can control my anger, I still think back to the pathetic excuse of a school meon It makes me feel bad and If any teachers from meon see this YOU WERE ALL WRONG ABOUT ME AND I HOPE NO ONE ELS MUST GO THROUGH WHAT YOU MADE ME GO THROUGH this Is Cameron Mitchell Bell proving you wrong.
