We contracted Merry Maids Cardiff to come and clean a property post tenancy from top to bottom excepting carpets. We were very impressed by the personable nature of the chap that came around to quote, and further we liked the 'methodology' which was apparently used. Unfortunately the reality was different. Just a few of the issues:- Dust left on surfaces- Dust cobwebs left throughout- Taps left with dirt around at the base (not even hard to get at dirt)- Showers (plural) left with mould and mildewThe cleaning was of a very poor standard and the chap who attended to quote was asked to return. On reviewing the cleaning standard they agreed to re-clean. The re-clean was done, and was passable. The need to re-let the property meant that the standard was accepted, despite there still being mildew etc. Wouldn't use them again due to the standard of work, but overall the sense of disappointment is the prevailing memory.
