MetWorks provide weather routeing services designed to meet the needs of the safety and profit conscious ship operator.
Total voyage costs can be significantly reduced by close monitoring of the ship's progress and daily plotting the projected track against the latest weather predictions.
About Us
MetWorks is a private limited company that has been established since 2001.
We combine decades of marine experience with top quality forecast data sourced from the UK Meteorological Office.
The Managing Director and all the operational ship weather routing staff are qualified British Master Mariners and have been trained in marine meteorology by the UK Met Office.
Our Services
The MetWorks mission is to help customers get their ships from port to port as safely and economically as possible by regularly monitoring progress and providing optimum routeing advice.

Pre-voyage route assessment. Regular route advisory and track forecasts throughout the passage up to 5 days ahead. Adverse weather warnings including Tropical cyclones.
Price: Introductory price £350 for an Atlantic crossing
Yacht services
Weather forecasts for private or charter yachts. Area forecast for any region up to 1 week ahead. Advice for any sea passage including relocating cruise areas. Working closely with the skipper to ensure safe and comfortable trips
Price: Atlantic crossing for as little as £300
