Excellent “no fuss" service
Really efficient service, the drivers were helpful, courteous and punctual. Freely gave us direct contact with themselves which made for a very smooth trip. The buses were of good quality and made a very comfortable trip. I would certainly use the company again.

Coach Hire to the Races
This is the second time our company have used Momentum Coach Hire and they continue to exceed our expectations. The coach arrived on time and was very clean and comfortable. The driver provided an excellent service and was really friendly. We asked if we could stay at the races a little later and he was happy to wait for us. Would thoroughly recommend and I do not think our company will use another coach hire provider.

Excellent service for Oxford Society Trip
Thank you very much for the service you provided to the Oxford Inter-Collegiate Christian Union for our coach journeys between Oxford and Ledbury on 16th and 18th April. Rethink Suffolk Holiday June 2017
Our Group hired coaches for return travel in June 2017, from Wimbledon, South West London, to Lowestoft, Suffolk, for our annual summer holiday. Very good service
Booked a minibus for New Year's Eve with Momentum. It was handlwd very efficiently from the start. There was a small error with the pickup address on the paperwork that I had failed to spot but the driver rang and it was resolved very quickly. The driver was excellent and it all went very smoothly and on time.

Very professional service by Momentum
Very professional and down to earth company to deal with, booking process was easy to complete. The driver on the day was interactive and was chatty to the passengers, the journey to and from London for the company Xmas party was smooth and on time, plus reliable on both days for pick up and return. Faultless service
Excellent service. The booking process was easy and any changes made to the booking were efficiently accommodated. The driver was on time and very friendly. It wasn't an easy location to drop-off at due to the traffic flows in progress but he ensured that he dropped us in the right place. He was also on time (early!) to the pick-up point and a good driver. A mobile phone was left in the drivers vehicle and he was very helpful in arranging for this to be picked up the next day. The whole Momentum service was very efficient and I will definitely be using them again.

ICE SHOW TRIP
What an amazing Service. I was taking a group of elderly people to the Ice Show in Brighton. The coach arrived early and the driver was very helpful with getting everyone on board. Good Service
I ordered 2 minibuses to take Managers/Directors on a factory visit. My calls were dealt with very efficiently. On the day, one minibus arrived a few minutes after the scheduled time but they both arrived at the location on time. Although not travelling myself, I asked some of the delegates about their experience and the minibuses were clean, driven safely and the driver was courteous.

Good Service Counts
I used Momentum for a trip to Proms in the Park in London in September. The coach arrived on time, was clean and the driver was polite and helpful. It was very warm on the coach though, even with the blowers on. Picked up for the homeward journey on time and in a very suitable location. Many thanks. We are looking forward to our trip to Holland in November with this company too.

Good Service - but could have been Communicated better
Our experience with Momentum was generally very positive and I would happily use them again for another off-site trip. The coach was prompt and the driver was very understanding and waited with the coach even though our day ran on a little longer than planned. The only slight glitch we had was that for a 2 hour journey the coach driver thought it would be ok to have a 20 minute break part way through the journey which had not been discussed. Luckily we were able to prevent this as it would have made us very late for our event, however clearly the coach driver had not been told we needed to arrive by a certain time. Unfortunately this did lead to allot of disruption as the driver left the back door open and many of our students decided to wander off to the service station whilst the driver quickly went to the bathroom, so it did make us quite late as we had to try and relocate them all again - a disruption which could have been avoided if the driver had been given the information we had told the company when booking. I would also mention that the company were more expensive than competitors and they misunderstood the details of the booking when they quoted us originally so they actually increased the price again so it was quite costly, I would take care to be sure that they fully understand your requirements before accepting their booking as you could be roped into something a bit more costly that you had budgeted for. Overall a good experience though, just be cautious about their communications.

Excellent Service
The service we received from Momentum was excellent, both when booking and on the actual day. Our coach driver was brilliant, arriving on time and put no pressure on when someone arrived late at the beginning of the journey. He had to put up with a coach full of very excited children and was very relaxed when we appeared to be a little disorganised. Last minute Saviours!
We recently carried out a charity bke ride to Brighton and were let down by our usual coach supplier at the last minute. After frantic calls across the south east of England, Momentum came up trumps. The arrangement was quick with no fuss and at a price was favourable to their peers. After a day in the saddle 20 weary riders waited for the coach to arrive for the return to our little corner of Kent. In todays world, you expect a few crossed wires about time and locations but Momentum were there on time, happy to wait as the riders finished up their heard earned lunch and then drove back without a single need or request for directions. I cannot thank them enough for making a hard but worthwhile day that little bit easier.

Coach To Wembley Stadium
My personal experiance with Momentum is terrible. We had arranged a coach to drop us off to Wembley Stadium, wait in the car park for which we had paid the coach to do and to pick us up in the same spot. The coach did drop us to Wembley but this is where it went wrong. The £70 pounds i paid for parking to coach was wasted as the coach left to pick up another fare. The coach was supposed to meet us in the same place at 5.30. At 6.30 we were still wondering around looking for the coach driver who told us he was in 4 different locations, we had disabeld and older memebers within our party who had walked for over 45 minutes to find a coach. The driver was rude and angry and told us to "hurry up", despite calling the head office on several occasions which is a chargable 0800 number i got nowhere. We were then told the coach would be 10 minutes, after 20 minutes we were then told the coach was not coming at all. We then had to pay for 16 people to get cabs and trains home which was very costly as we had already paid for the coach. Would not recommend this to anyone, truley shocking experiance.

Easy Newmarket Nights experience
I booked a minibus for 16 people, collection from a Newmarket hotel with transfer to the raceccourse at 3.30 pm for return journey at 23.45. The driver was early for the afternoon pickup. The bus was clean and tidy. He was polite and dropped us off at the entrance to the enclosure at the course. Return journey went smoothly too. We called earlier than we had booked the transport for as some of our guests were ready to leave prior to the 23.30 pick up. The driver was on site and the took us back to the hotel without issue. Great service and reasonable price - and I only booked three days before I needed the transport as we had been let down by another company. What a relief to deal with such a professional outfit. Call centre staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We will be using this company again next year and would highly recommend them.

This is a fantastic company to hire from. The buses (I have used them twice) are in excellent condition. The drivers are courteous, helpful and keep you informed of the journey times all the way along. I had a number of passengers in my party who had walking disabilities and the driver was fantastic, helping them board, loading a wheelchair and generally was kind and thoughtful. The drivers are safe and we all felt totally at ease. I am hiring them again at the end of the month. Fantastic!

Brilliant!
I hired a 24 seater to bring some guests to my daughters wedding, obviously I was nervous and didn't want anything to spoil her big day. Peggy davies in reservations was an angel, and very very efficient. It was the best price I was quoted, they then up graded me free of charge, because they thought a executive coach would be more in keeping with a wedding. Denis the driver arrived at an awkward pick up site. He was great and the coach left on the dot! Collection was again, text book. Can't thank them enough, I would recommended them to anyone, and I will use them again.

Wembley Trip for Gosport Borough Youth
Brilliant driver and he arrived nice and early to pick us up, unfortunately I was not aware that the cost quoted did not include the £65 parking fee so luckily our driver called me to pre-warn me that he needed this for parking and problem was averted but I was £65 out of pocket...lesson learnt for future. Otherwise, good service, easy to pay and exceptional driver. Would recommend.

Momentum Gone bust owing thousands - Do not use
Momentum Coach Hire went into administration in Jan 2014 owing hundred of thousands of pounds to schools, customers and the actual coach companies who did the work. Girls trip
2nd time we've used momentum for girls trips to Milton Keynes Theatre. The town is awful to drive round so letting someone else take the strain is well worth the money. Also means you can have a half-time drink without worry. Very organised, and reliable - already looking for next theatre outing.

Great Day at the Races
Booked this company for our annual day out to the races. Past years have seen us take Limos up but this year, due to the STUNNING price rise in Limos over the last 3 years we booked an Executive Mini Bus... It was wonderful, Clean and Tidy, and just as nice as any Limo we've travelled in. The driver was amazing and accomodating. We will definately be using them again.

This is how to do group travel
From getting a quote to the getting off the bus the service has been superb. We had a 16 seater minibus from Surrey to London for a night out. MCH met our requirements with extra pickups and drops and our driver was punctual and had great communications. This was easier and worked out cheaper than running for the last train and the grief of waiting for a taxi at the station. From door to door MCH was fantastic. I have already recommended MCH to my friends and we will be using the service again very soon

Made a last minute booking for a 40th birthday trip to Legoland. Coach arrived early and was ready and waiting for our departure. We had arranged for a 18:00hrs collection but finished early at 17:30hrs driver was there already waiting. Very good service will not hesitate to use again.

Booking the 24 seater coach was very efficient and prompt. The coach turned up in good time at both ends so there was no waiting around. The driver was friendly, helpful and courteous and the coach clean. Excellent service, competitive prices and we are using them again in December.

Team Building Event
Booked for a work team building event. Pick up was very prompt, coach clean and well maintained. Driver friendly and took us to the destination without any problems. Clear about pick up area and was waiting at the agreed time to pick up some rather merry women for the trip home. All good from us.

Work Day Out
Pick up was early and very polite and helpful, he knew the best rout out of London for this venue despite everyone on the coach having an opinion on which way we should go. He waited patiently when we were delayed by 40 minutes gathering the party together and was extremely accomodating with a somewhat merry and loud group on the return journey. "Cinderella" Forced To Abandon Wedding Reception Early
My brand-new wife and I were given no option but to ask all our Wedding guests to pack up and leave the reception early or risk having to make their own way 20 miles to their hotel with no notice. On what was so far my dream day I was surprised to find the coach booked to take my 60+ guests and wedding party home from the reception arrived over an hour early. Even more surprising was when the driver informed us the coach would be leaving at 21:45 rather than the requested 22:30, whether everybody was on board or not, due to the Momentum Coach Hire putting the wrong departure time on the booking confirmation. When booking a coach back from my wedding the main worries were the coach getting lost or turning up late, not that it will ask everybody to leave early. I was completely gob-smacked, and the operative on the Momentum Coach Hire emergency number was no help stating there was nothing they could do. Momentum Coach Hire which was chosen as the quote was competitive, their website published excellent client testimonies and seemed to show a customer facing attitude. This proved to not be so. The coach was to be available at the pick up from 22:00 with a planned leaving time of 22:30. However the initial booking confirmation supplied by Momentum Coach Hire had both the wrong time and location. These were requested to be corrected on two occasions and received email confirmation from Momentum Coach Hire that 'I have now added the additional notes into the job notes for the driver to see' but received no correct booking confirmation. Following on from this multiple emails and phone messages have resulted in Momentum Coach Hire issuing nothing more than template apology emails with little explanation, saying they could do nothing. The senior Momentum Coach Hire representative eventually explained "The agreed booking confirmation was followed to the letter. The reason the trip did not go to plan was because an e-mail [to Momentum correcting the booking confirmation] was overlooked and wasn't replied to which resulted in your trip details not being changed". At no point was the booking confirmation information correct therefore it was never agreed and multiple attempts to get it corrected failed at your end. Momentum Coach Hire have made it clear that there will be no refund but do look forward to our future business.

School Trip from France
The booking process with Momentum is excellent and efficient from beginning to end. We hired a 72 seater coach for a school group visiting from France. They picked up the group from St Pancras on the first day and transferred them to where they wished to visit in London. Each morning and evening they would pick the group up and return them to our centre. The service with this company is always excellent hence why we use them for most of the coach hire we require for the school groups visiting England, Wales and Scotland. Highly recommended.

Wedding Party Transport
Hired a 40 seat coach, complete with wheelchair lift facility for multiple journeys for a wedding day. Easy to arrange, the coach itself was modern and clean, the wheelchair access system was great, driver was very helpful and everything ran to time. I hired a coach to transport wedding guests from London to Cardiff and back the following day. Hen night out
We rented a house in the depths of the Lincolnshire countryside for my friend's hen. We booked a Momentum coach to pick us up from the house, and take us to Loncoln for a night out, and then return us in the early hours of the morning. The coach was on time, clean and tidy, with a toilet on board, and our driver was professional and courteous. Eastbourne trip

Great Value
I needed a minibus for a birthday trip. Momentum travel were significantly cheaper than the local coach hire firms that quoted. AWFUL!
I hired momentum for my wedding in august..they arrived on time and everything seemed fine. I woke up the morning after my great day to hear that the coach did not show up to pick 50 guests up. They left my guests including my 80 year old nan and young children on the streets looking for the coach at 2am...They did provide cabs to collect guests much later but this was too little too late. To top it all off they are avoiding me now and not even had an apology. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

21st trip to London
The Company was very helpful through out the booking stage. On the night, the coach was a larger size than expected with a toilet.The driver was fantastic with the group who were celebrating our daughter 21st up in london. Awful service
We used Momentum for a series of transfers for a high profile event. They were helpful during the booking process although insisted on full payment upfront and didn't mention that they operate on a coach brokering basis. Many of the coaches that turned up were basic to say the least. It was questionable that one of the drivers should be driving at all. Two of the drivers were unprofessional in attire and manner. I would never use them again.

Night out Pick Up and Drop home
Driver was at our pick up point 10mins early and clled me on my mobile, was no problem as we were nearly all ready anyway. The driver was polite an friendly an got us to our destination quick an safe. After a great night out he was due to pick us up at 3:15 and as soon as we got outside he was there waiting for us. Efficient, friendly, competent service
I used Momentum for the first time to take 19 neighbours to a house warming/40th birthday party from Surrey to East Sussex. The whole experience from enquiry/quote and door to door service was efficient, friendly and the coach was wonderful (I was expecting the Heartbeat bus - pleasantly surprised with a modern, clean and comfortable vehichle). 2 hour delay
Driver was supposed to pick up 1 group and then go back for 2nd group right away. Since he didn't arrive for the 2nd group in time we called to find out he was still 50 miles away on a break. In the end our conference started with a 2-hour delay because of this plus we hired a coach and got a run-down school double-decker bus. Will not use them again.

Had the pleasure to deal with Momentum recently to take two rugby teams (one Under 13 & one Under 15 years of age) from St Helens to Leeds to compete in a cross county "Wars of the Roses" Challenge against our Yorkshire counterparts. We needed one large luxury coach to transport both teams in style along with all their playing equipment and Momentum got the day off to a great start with an 82 seat executive double-decker which made the kids feel special. A great day out
Very impressed with the friendliness of the company's customer service which was quick, efficient and professional. They were very helpful, took time to answer every query and went out of their way to get the best deal for our school trip to Chessington World of Adventures. The coach we ordered could have been a little cleaner, however, the efficiency and friendliness of the driver more than made up for this.

Value for money service
The driver came into the pick up venue and introduced himself and informed me of where he had parked which I found very useful. The driver was very helpful and accommodating. Service was very good; coach was as booked and we would definately book with Momentum again. There was one slight issue: the coach was a double decker and the heating on the top deck was felt to be too hot. This was, however, an electrical or mechanical fault that could not have been foreseen, and so does not reflect on Momentum or its operatives.I would definately recommend Momentum to others requiring a Coach Service.

Our Trip
Driver was excellent – late to pick up due to M25 closure and knock on effects of traffic on M11, but kept us informed of progress. Nothing he could do really. On time to collect for return journey and very helpful at drop off points. Would definitely book again.

Very Happy!
We were very happy with the service we received from Momentum coach hire which we booked to return our guests after our wedding on 4 Dec. It arrived on time, considering the icy conditions and even made additional stops to nearby hotels. Not too sure about the on-board entertainment provided, but we can't hold the coach company responsible for the groom's singing! An enjoyable and comfortable journey was had by all. Many thanks

Thank You. We had two good journey's there and back. Our driver was very friendly and helpful. My only gripe if any was the heating, at my request the driver turned it down twice, our people were wilting with the heat and one was feeling sick. Eventually the driver checked the airflow and realised it was not turning down, He finally managed to get it under control. All these positive reviews must have used a different company to me, or they are not real !!
As a result of the ash cloud in april, we were stranded in Val d'isere and contacted Momentum to arrange a return trip to the uk,when the initial enquiry was made we were told that whilst the coach was not a "luxury" coach it was an "executive" coach so it would not have a toilet but would have reclining seats, arm rests, etc. What turned up can only be described as a "school bus" , no recliners, no armrests, no tables and seats that were probably slightly less comfortable than public transport, certainly not what would be reasonable to expect having paid £4500 for a one way journey from France. The booking was for Saturday 17th April at 11-12pm collection in Val d'isere, France, booked on the 11.20am ferry from Calais to Dover with an expected estimated time arrival in the north of late afternoon/early evening of Sunday 18th April and we were told the coach would go "straight through". In reality the coach turned up at 5.30am the following day so we spent the night in the reception of our hotel. The drivers had apparently got lost which could have something to do with the fact that they were trying to navigate their way round Europe with a 2002 road map and I needed to give them directions of how to get to us. We obviously missed the ferry and in spite of me contacting the co-ordinator to advise him and ask that he re-book us on the one to suit our timetable, they did not, it was left to the drivers who got us on one a few hours later. Due to all the delays the drivers' hours had run out so another driver collected us from Dover and took us to Medway where we collected yet another driver. This driver was so stressed about the time he had been allowed for the journey that he would not let us off for a toilet break. Clearly we should have had two drivers as this journey would normally be considered to be five and a half hours; one hour over his allowed driving time. Anyway we got there within two or three minutes to spare. Another concern that we found out on route is that the drivers should have had a nine hour break in Bologna but apparently only got three and it showed. I do not understand why anyone would give us such an unrealistic arrival time and jeopardise our safety, when if we had been told the coach would arrive at say 10am the following morning we could have all had a good nights sleep, the drivers included. The reality is they did not provide any part of the contract we made and totally misrepresented the standard of product and service.

The Journey itself was great, Tony was a fantastic driver. However, the prep for the journey was not as impressive. the only details the driver was given was “bus stop, Earlham Road†when the pick-up point was the main UEA bus stop, on University Drive. He wasnt given any of my contact details, and I did not receive my text message as I was told I would – I had to ring your out-of-hours contact to get Tony's number.

Avoid this company like the plague
If you Google Momentum Coaches you will find a string of poor reviews for this company. For some strange reason there are now a string of positive reviews posted over the last couple of weeks. All remarkably similar in tone and content. Don't believe their attempts at online reputation management. Avoid this company like the plague. We booked and paid for a coach with them for a trip to the Derby in June and three days before the event they called to say they couldnt find a coach for us. It left us high and dry and ended up costing us an extra £350 because of the last minute nature of the revised booking. We had booked a second event with them at the same time and for obvious reasons we decided we couldnt trust them to turn up - four months later and we are still trying to recover our money. For your own good - avoid them. And if you want further proof just google them and see how many complaints you will find.

I just want to say that Mike was a fabulous driver for my group over the past weekend. Friendly, courteous, and professional, he quite literally got us out of some tight spots, navigation-wise, as we threaded our way into and out of Bath and the surrounding countryside. He was also a very good adviser regarding the practicability of our touring objectives, helping us to select the best options and to move forward in a timely fashion that still left us plenty of time to see all the key sights on our itinerary. Never Again!!
I used this company for the first time in June for my annual trip to Ascot. I was called repeatedly by their sales team after my initial enquiry and went ahead with a booking. I paid the balance in full prior to my trip but a driver failed to arrive. I was offered no explanation. A driver finally turned up 2 hours late and as a result, myself and 12 friends missed the first 2 races. I am still 3 months later waiting for a response from MOMENTUM!!!

5 Star Service Offered by Momentum Coach Hire
I just wanted to write to say a huge thank you for helping me out with booking the Thorpe Park Trip for the young people at Whitehawk Youth Centre. Your prices were by far the best I found for this trip but in no way meant that your service was poor. On the contrary %u2013 it was really easy to book and pay for the day and you were able to amend the booking for us. The coach we had was very clean, spacious and comfortable %u2013 people found it easy to fall asleep on the way home! And lastly thank you for sending us such a lovely driver %u2013 he was very friendly and great with the young people. He allowed young people to access the coach through the day and also enabled a few to shelter on the coach when they had had enough of the rain.
