Perfectly located on the Promenade and corner of Tennyson Avenue and standing only 100 yards from the sea and overlooking a small park, this lovely old Victorian house offers you character and charm with all modern comforts. Only 500 yard's walk down the Promenade takes you to all the amenities you could want - 100 yards from Leisure World, shops, cinema, bowling, english carvery, italian/indian/chinese restaurants and all the town centre shops and harbour. Personally run by the owners, every room offers full ensuite facilities, some with sea and park views, with all modern comforts. We assure you of a comfortable and enjoyable stay, whether it's for a night or two, a mid-week break, long weekend or your weekly holiday. All rooms are attended daily by staff, with towels and toiletries provided.

Our fully licensed Tennyson Bar is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and nightly entertainment. You can meet friends and mix with the locals while you enjoy our nightly entertainment ranging from quiz nights, live music from top local artistes and a Dixieland Jazz Band every Sunday. Whatever the occassion here at the Mon Fort Hotel we can accommodate your needs. Mon Fort Hotel is able to accommodate private functions at the hotel. ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD

Our 13 bedrooms all have full private en-suite facilities, colour televisions/radios and complimentary hot drinks trays. Our premier rooms have sea and park views, and are large and airy as they are part of the original vicarage. All rooms are tastefully decorated and newly refurbished. Our rooms are all non-smoking. Rooms are attended daily by staff. Hairdryers and laundry service are available. Breakfast is both serviced or on a help yourself buffet. We are happy to cater for any guests with vegetarian or special diets.
Meals are available from our Bar Menu in the Tennyson Bar where we also serve afternoon tea/coffees, and a range of freshly made sandwiches. Evening meals are available by arrangement and we have a range of excellent local cuisine right on our doorstep.

Mon Fort Hotel enjoys a perfect location on the Promenade, just 1000 yards from the sea and just 2 minutes walk down the Prom to the harbour and all town centre ameneties. All rooms are fully ensuite and consist of doubles and twins, traditionally decorated in keeping with being a former vicarage.
