They are running scared!

I have had 12 letters in total. I have telephoned them once (witholding my number) and they were still adamant I owed maney to Orange Mobile. I had in fact bought out the contract, renewed a NEW 18 month contract but with a free new number and handset! so I get a letter saying I owe them on behalf of orange. Without the ability to tattoo this on the back of someone's eyelids at MDR, I ignored every letter, simply kept them. Then the notice of legal intention, Great! Can't wait, I have a bill that says ZERO, I have spoken to Orange who say (You don't owe us anything) so happy days. Then, my wife gets a call on her own personal mobile (differnt network) asking to speak to me because i owe them money! A bit angry? well yeah! So I rang them. Asked for the legal department, answer, it has to be in writing, to the exact same address as the call centre. So I have a fax, I faxed them the ZERO bil, along with a full application for costs of £375.00 (this was for durress, attempting to obtain money by menacies, and £10.00 for the affadavit) Guess who has a cheque in there hand? Bulls**ts the lot of them. And another suggestion, If you live in the Stockport area, have paid the bill, or even have a direct arrangment with the original, get down to a commisioner of oaths, pay £10.00, get a receipt and knock on the door, state that the letter is by hand for the attention of Mike Berry, and that he has been served.

Uncooperative and threatening

As I am on the receiving end of debt recovery threat letters. I find myself unsatisfied with whatever service theses people have to offer. I am a client of a debt help agency, who have contacted moorcroft on my behalf, but moorcroft dont seem to acknowledge this and are now threatening me with court action. There are far better companies out there for anyone wishing to recover a debt. A company that threatens such as this one is no good to anyone, I am by far more willing to pay one of the other companies than one which constantly threatens me. I shall pay obviously, but it shall be the bear minimum. I would rather give any extra monies to other more adaptable and helpful companies.
