Hello, I'm Andrea Matthews, wedding and events planner and owner of Moxie Events. For the last 15 years I have delivered bespoke events ranging from small intimate gatherings to large scale exhibitions.
As a self-confessed lover of all things creative, specifically individual creativity, I chose to evolve my project management skills and expand into the wedding industry, training with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners.

I've always had a keen interest in the wedding industry, probably going back to when I tied the knot myself many years ago! A few years after my own wedding I completed a floristry course which allowed me to put my creative skills to the test. I still love arranging flowers and creating new designs.

Several years later, and following the arrival of my two beautiful daughters , I decided to bite the bullet and quit my job as Business Development Manager for a global accountancy firm, incorporate my project management and creative skills and begin my journey as a wedding and event planner.

I will admit I'm a perfectionist; I am used to working to targets and meeting deadlines, I'm uber organised, but above all I am an expert in listening to my client's needs - at the end of the day it's all about you!
