My style of Reiki is as authentic and pure as possible, stemming directly from the founder of the original Usui Reiki system, Mikao Usui. In keeping with this original tradition I follow as closely as possible the eastern philosophy, treatment style and hand positions that have been passed down over the generations via teachings and attunements delivered by Usui Reiki Masters. These styles and techniques are
(1) The Usui Spiritual Energy System (Usui Reiki Ryoho) - a style and lineage that goes back to Reiki's original Japanese founder Mikao Usui, but stayed in secrecy in Japan until the 1980s. Today it is becoming more and more popular, and also taught by many in the West.
(2) The Usui Natural Healing System (Usui Shiki Ryoho). The traditional Western lineage, also going back to Mikao Usui. Brought to the West in 1936 by Mrs Hawayo Takata, it is currently the most popular and widely accepted tradition.
