Scammed!!

I went here very heavily pregnant and was told i needed some work done to the rear wheel suspension area of my car, not being a mechanic i left it to their judgement and the work done, when i went to collect and drive off i had the same squeak still, I was then told i needed new ball joint on the front and i went home rather upset that i needed yet more work done (having just spent over £100+ they now wanted another £100+) being very heavily pregnant i wasnt going to drive around in a defective car, but however, i did decide to get a second opinion on the price at another garage...glad i did it turned out this garage was lying, there was nothing wrong with my ball joint my wheels just needed tracking, then i also discovered they had replaced a part that didn't need replacing but left a leaky cylinder that did need replacing on my car!!...total cowboy outfit who are prepared to exploit customers who are non the wiser, i managed to get a token (half my money back) after contacting head office and trading standards, but i wonder how many customers dont realise they have been duped and just pay out for unnecessary repairs or for items that haven't actually been replaced?? when i started asked about family and friends it turns out others have had the same experience, so my advice would be to avoid and use a honest garage!!!
