Rude, unimformative, RIP OFF SCAM!

Saw a sign outside to Chessington saying £13 I had already planned to take My son for his Birthday so Googled when I got home the company and rang, spoke to a man on the phone explained there would be 4 people and a baby presuming a normal car would be ok as baby was on lap, 3 in the back baby on lap one in the front, no he says 7 seater so I agreed, I then to clarify said £13 EACH WAY?!!! In shock as I thought WOW what a deal he says yep £13 each way, had a little discussion about the fact the baby was apparently an ADULT thats why a 7 seater would be needed, whatever I asked how much more he said a few more pounds I accepted and booked this AMAZING DEAL, the website for this Company looks very Prestige and Classy, claiming to have special navigation to prevent traffic, claiming it is the best of the best, (yet we were stuck in traffic) which I only saw AFTER the booking actually and it has made Me laugh! Might I also add I am not out of touch, or unintelligent, I saw the deal and yes it was believable the fact it was on the sign I saw BRIEFLY on passing and the fact the office confirmed £13 each way on the phone gave Me NO REASON to question the CHEAP AMAZING DEAL! The cab arrives, standard not prestige, clean yes, friendly driver yes, but not prestige! anyway that is not My issue here, My issue is We arrive and the driver says right £65 please SIXTY FIVE POUNDS! I quite literally laughed and thought oh look the over friendly driver having a little crack with Me! it took 3 minutes of Me and him having this oh your joking how funny banter to actually realize the man was serious, he shows Me his little phone which has some info of the extortionate booking, and enlightens Me on arrival at Chessington it is £13 PER PERSON, including MY ONE YEAR OLD who sat on My lap so £13 x FIVE AS IF I WOULD OF BOOKED THAT CAB FOR £65 I PAID THAT TO GET INTO CHESSINGTON, why would I pay for a wait and return cab that would cost £130 in total, Why would I of agreed to £13 for a been charged for a child UNDER TWO to sit on a lap, let alone the fact I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE got In a cab and been told its pay per PERSON!??? So I ring the office to deal with it, and what do I get a man on the end of the phone of the very "Prestige" office quite literally mocking Me for thinking it would be £13 each way AFTER HE SOLD ME THE CAB telling Me that information, NOT MENTIONING £13 each way PER PERSON, BIG DIFFERENCE, he is laughing and telling the person next to Him, she thinks its £13 each way, oh yes very Prestige and Professional, Also made out I was lying regarding the booking and the LACK of Information He gave Me on the phone, obviously this person deals with cabs everyday and expects the customer to just know when he says £13 each way he means PER PERSON, to Me he has SCAMMED Me, been unprofessional, left Me on My sons Birthday having to pay £65 which was lunch and memorabilia Money, and THEN not even dealt with it professionally or correctly instead been rude, told Me I was lying and laughed at the situation, the result My son at Chessington Wanting the toys and food and Me not being able to do it as the Money I took was given over to this Company who quite frankly have NO customer service skills or knowledge on how to make bookings including the SMALL PRINT INFORMATION. Selling someone a cab is the same as a product do not give Me limited information or tell Me £13 each way and then expect Me to pay £13 PER PERSON, I did not have the sign in front of Me when the booking was made, the sign caught My eye I then contacted them on the phone to inquire the details, the details this Man has given Me MINUS the PER PERSON, never mind the fact this rip off cab also meant £13 for a 1 year old to sit on a lap? Ludicrous, Rude, and a SCAM, I would of resolved this directly with the company however after standing in the heat on My boys 8th Birthday with the Man in the "Professional" Office mocking Me and telling Me I'm lying I have resorted to this, leaving feedback so others CAN STEER CLEAR. I have looked online and the going rate is £39 to go to Gatwick from other Companies, so where did this company pluck £65 from? or £13 PER PERSON???? BABIES INCLUDED???? Take your signs in, recruit BETTER Professional staff and BE CLEAR WHEN YOUR TAKING BOOKINGS YOU HAVE RUINED MY SONS DAY AND LEFT ME WITH NO CHOICE BUT TO CONTACT TRADING STANDARDS, I WILL be getting My Money back, and you will NOT be getting away with robbing Me blind for your negligence. Perhaps if you had been as kind as your website states I would of been able to resolve this YESTERDAY before you went onto to NOT care for the fact you had took Money I did not have, and what if I did not have the cash? Ask yourself WHY I would of made a booking I could not afford? Why any normal human would pay £13 for a baby, since when were cabs pay per person and IF they are since when did you pay a full going rate for a baby who is ONE, perhaps it would of been easier to digest if that little pee take was not added to the fact the man who booked it DID NOT tell Me it was a pay per person cab, and if they even try to claim its more pricier that other firms at its top notch, then Ide hate to see a shabby cab, it was a standard cab. God STEER CLEAR!!!!!!!!
