I would give zero stars if possible and this review reflects an experience in 2007 where my relative was neglected to the point she was not being fed in the afternnoons, her teeth were not being brushed and she was being generally left by herself to the point she lay quietly until we got her out of that place and she heard her mother's voice. Her mother made sure she was sent to hospital and the rude manager sent a poor girl who could barely speak English to try and explain to the hospital why she was there. My mother was in the same hospital by the way - the reason why my relative had to go into care in the first place. The reason I called the care home manager rude was she made childish comments about my appearance led on by two assistants who for description purposes both looked like Olive from 'On the Buses' so were clearly delusional. They were also the typical rough, barely educated people that care homes insist on employing. The nurse was nice enough but was not giving vital medication as required. As per usual, clothing went missing. rude guests of another client made disability-hate remarks. They were rough, common types who looked like they could not afford to pay for a room there. On top of this, I had to undergo slander from a Wansbeck nurse, who seemed to be your typical binge-drinking, overweight, thick hospital employee. Far more interested in my looks than finding out the truth.
