About Us

Requirements of the Oadby and Wigston Council Licensing Office require that all taxi drivers must have:

Driving license
*
Medical and eye test
*
Pass a knowledge test of the area
*
Certificate by the Criminal Records Bureau

All these must be achieved before the drivers can receive their taxi license.

The Vehicles all have to be:

MOT tested every 6 months in order for the Oadby and Wigston council to issue a Plate
*
Serviced regularly (roughly every 10,000 miles)
*
Kept clean and tidy
