9 Shay Lane
Oaklands Farm Guesthouse is a 4 star Visit England establishment situated in the suburban area of Hales Barns, just one mile from the M56 at J6. This was a small, sleepy village which has grown tremendously with the development of Manchester Airport and the M56.
The Guesthouse was originally a working farm and the outbuildings and stables have been re-developed into mews houses to let. The Warburton family have lived here for many years breeding Shire Horses in the past and trading them during the heyday of horsepower, from the cobbled yard. Photographs of the prize winning Shire Horses are still on display in the dining room.
The farmhouse is comfortable and friendly with your own entrance through the conservatory, leading up the stairs to a double bedroom en-suite (which can sleep a family) and a separate twin en-suite bedroom. All rooms have tea making facilities and Freeview flat screen television and WiFi. Long stay parking available and courtesy transport to and from Manchester Airport and the railway station.
Oaklands has an established reputation as a family run business providing high quality accommodation with a home from home relaxed feel.
There are plenty of local amenities catering for a wide range of people on business or holiday.
Wythenshawe, Priory and Transform Hospitals are close by.
Cheshire is an attractive place to visit with a lot of local history and a diverse range of outdoor pursuits. Ringway Golf Club (a superb 18 hole club) is across the road.
There is also the convenience of city life and the Trafford Centre only 15 mins away.
The mews cottages are let out long term(three two bed en-suite and one four bed with en-suites).
