Oxygen is a youth work charity which was conceived by a group of Christian young people who wanted to make a difference in the lives of their peers and respond to the needs they could see in the community.

Oxygen was launched in 2001 by a group of local churches who got behind the vision. Ten years on and Oxygen is delivering a range of programmes, activities and training focused upon the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in Kingston. We seek to equip, encourage and support young people by building relationships which value them as individuals and provide opportunities for them to serve others and their local communities.

Our belief in young people is matched by a high expectation of what they can contribute to society. In doing this we aim to transform young people’s lives, giving them hope for the future and the ability to have an impact on the lives of others.
