Worst shop ever. Here's my story with them.

BEAR IN MIND THIS WAS TAKEN FROM AN EMAIL I SENT TO THEM, BUT I WANT EVERYONE TO HEAR HOW BAD THEY ARE. Dear owner / workers of PC Direct, Recently I paid £55 to get the battery and charging port / mobile antenna replaced (Only the charging port was broke, not the antenna, it's just attached to that part) on an otherwise fully working iPhone 5s, black. After I received my iPhone back, when I got home, I was not getting any service, and the WiFi only worked when I was near a router. I also noticed I had to keep clicking the screen back into place, because it made continuous clicking noises when pushed on and the screen went more distorted than it normally would as I did so. When I tried to connect the 5s to my bluetooth speaker, which it worked fine with before, it then only worked if it was within 20cm of the speaker and I held the iPhone with 2 fingers / didn't hold it at all. I could also hear what sounded like a screw, shaking around the bottom of the iPhone, around the area the shop worker replaced. I instantly phoned up PC Direct and complained about these problems. He then told me to bring the iPhone back into the store and he would have a look at it. The next day, I did exactly that. Only, he claimed that he could not of done any of this damage as he only replaced 2 parts. I proceeded to tell him that he must of damaged something because none of these issues occurred before. He then said it's not his responsibility. I left the shop, much to my displease, with a still, unusable iPhone. I used the iPhone as more of a music player, because at the time I wasn't using it as my primary phone. After 1 month, I was getting very frustrated with the fact that my iPhone wasn't working to how it was before the store opened it up. I called them back up to address the issues I had been having again, and the same guy who fixed it, who I think may be the shop owner, told me to bring it down. 2 minutes after I was off the phone I was at the shop again, down the road. He then said the same thing to me, it's not his responsibility if the phone isn't fully working after the repair. I again, told him it was working perfectly fine, as I had called and texted people through it and even used the internet through it. (Mobile and WiFi). He then became very condescending and repeated himself, saying its not his fault that the phone isn't working as it should, as he didn't replace the parts I was complaining about. I then pointed out that the charging port, that he replaced, also has the mobile antenna in that part. He then went quiet for a few seconds, and then said again, its not his fault. I then asked him why there was a screw shaking around at the bottom of the phone where he replaced the part and why the screen wasn't fitting it properly. He tried to take the iPhone off me to screw it back in. I also pointed out to him that we had had problems with this shop before. (When we brought our PC in, he replaced the motherboard and graphics card, and when we got home he had replaced our £75 4GB of RAM for 1 stick of 2GB RAM that I could of bought off the internet for £5. After that issue was sorted, we plugged the PC in, turned it on, and the power supply burnt out and started smoking). This is a letter of intent saying that, if you don't reimburse my £55 and/or completely fix the iPhone to the spec it was before the shop touched it, I will be forced to take further action, and involve Trading Standard. Linked below is a .mov file of examples of the screen glitches & mobile data, phone and texting problems I have had. If I need to I will also provide evidence of the WiFi, bluetooth, the shaking screw, and the improperly fitted screen in another email. Yours faithfully, Brandon Sanchez-Del-Rio. A great service from two honest guys. There is a price list on the counter in the shop for a service and individual repairs. The service was fast and efficient. Really impressive company. Thank you, Steve
