My wife bought a car from a "private seller" called Adrian Maciejewski who collected us from the train station to carry out a test drive with trade plates from P&P Autos. We went to P&P's garage where we were told that the car had failed an MOT on breaks but these had been repaired by P&P and it then passed the MOT. We agreed a price and went into the office of P&P to complete the deal. Adrian went off with P&P paper work to tax the vehicle as part of the deal. Receipt from Adrian has P&P address on it. Drove 190 miles home and at the end the breaks had a catastrophic failure. Local reputable garage said vehicle was sold unroad worthy. Contacted VOSA - not interested as by chance Adrian had sold the vehicle just outside of the 28 day VOSA limit. Trading Standards are trying to prosecute, P&P (Peter Sokolowski) says nothing to do with P&P despite things already outlined. Adrian is now uncontactable. Google search on his mobile 07446957064 shows more than five pages of vehicles being sold by this private seller. We are more than £620 out of pocket and having to spend more to go through Small Claims Court. Avoid P&P Autos, Avoid Peter Sokolowski, Avoid Adrian Maciejewski.

Avoid this company - terrible service!
We have just had PDF removed by this company what a mistake, They gave a quote before the work was carried out, then when we went to collect the car they had added £100 extra on top of the quote even though they had carried out the exact work & nothing more than originally quoted for! When I questioned this I was spoken to with no decency by the owner at all & was refused a receipt which was torn up in front of my face when I asked for it with a grin on his face. Not to mention the guy who's company it is hates English people ( he & his company is polish). He said he hated English people because we expect too much- what a nerve after I just paid him £450 the price i was quoted for. That's an idea of a quote, so you know how much it's going to be! Not so someone can add an additional £100 coz they feel like it! I asked why is he here in England then if he hates us english all so much, basically he though he could come & take advantage to boost his earnings That makes sense! Seriously don't waste your money with this rude, poorly run & English hating company. I had to threaten with trading standards just to get a receipt for god sake!
