What do we do?
Parents 1st (trading name of Strengths in Communities CIC) specialises in developing effective and sustainable Volunteer Community Parent Programmes in disadvantaged communities.
Our over-arching vision is to empower vulnerable parents to give their babies the best start in life
Early prevention through peer-to-peer support is at the heart of our work. Drawing on an extensive evidence base, our Community Parent Programme transforms care for vulnerable parents through pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting.
Our Community Parent volunteers are also key beneficiaries.
