About Parrisianne

Originally formed in 1979 by Ian & Anne Parris as a dry cleaning engineering company, Parrisianne has grown into one of the leading dry cleaning machinery suppliers in the United Kingdom. A large part of this success is due to Jimmy Holt who originally joined the company in 1989 having previously worked for the Duval Group.

Parrisianne were the first company to introduce Union and other FMB Group manufactured products into the UK and Jimmy soon realised that more and more dry cleaners and launderers in the United Kingdom wanted the quality of the Union Dry Cleaning machines and the excellent back up, engineering and support service that Parrisianne offered. Over 20 years later and Parrisianne is still the sole UK distributor for Union Srl and our relationship is as strong as ever and Parrisianne can boast of having over 1,000 Dry cleaning machines currently in operation in the United Kingdom.

1989 also saw Parrisianne partner with Ghidini Pressing Equipment and to this day Parrisianne continue to work alongside this excellent manufacturing company and are proud to be the sole UK distributor for their range of equipment from manual utility presses and cabinets to electric boilers, spotting tables and finishing tables.

2002 saw a defining moment not only for Parrisianne but also the UK Dry Cleaning and Laundry industry. Sankosha Press & Progress of Japan, the world's leading manufacturer of shirt and garment finishing presses, approached Parrisianne looking for a distributor of their products for the United Kingdom. Realising the potential of the shirt market in the UK an agreement was soon put in place and neither company has looked back since. With Sankosha's machinery installed in ironing services, launderettes, dry cleaning shops, exclusive five star London hotels and many of the UK's leading Laundry operations. In 2012 Parrisianne Dry Cleaning Solutions Ltd installed the 300th piece of Sankosha machinery in the UK and are widely regarded as the leading distributor of shirt machinery in the United Kingdom and are also the number one distributor for Sankosha products across Europe.

2007 saw the founder's retirement and Jimmy Holt became Managing Director and the company was rebranded as Parrisianne Dry Cleaning Solutions Ltd. Jimmy immediately took the decision to make long time servant to the company, Mark Catchesides Parrisianne's Engineering Director. Mark, who initially started with the company as a trainee is now widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable engineers in the industry and has been on many in house engineering courses with our major suppliers. Fluent in Italian needless to say Mark has also been instrumental in making sure that nothing is lost in translation when dealing with Union and Ghidini.

To this day Parrisianne continue to excel all others in machine and dry cleaning technical support, we carry out repairs, supply spare parts, give free on line technical assistance, carry out breakdown repairs, annual servicing, internal inspections on all FMB group brand names; Union, Realstar, & Firbimatic. Parrisianne carry stock of a comprehensive range of spares and accessories for all dry cleaning equipment manufactured by the FMB group, along with a large selection of machine and workshop accessories. We can renew or repair any part of your dry cleaning unit with our team of fully mobile engineers. Our strength has and continues to lie in its very broad base of expertise, covering all aspects of equipment for dry cleaning central processing plants, retail unit shops, work wear rental plants and textile scouring.
