Established in 1903, Peacocks Medical Group has been supplying medical equipment and services for over 100 years.
A multi-award winning family-run group based in the North East of England, Peacocks provide outstanding care in the delivery of both services and equipment to the NHS and private sector on a national and international scale.
Peacocks have three company divisions :
Orthotics, Surgical and Medical Equipment and Direct Sales :
They offer a range of products and services including medical decontamination and dental sterilisation equipment, operating theatre tables, lighting and surgical equipment.
Direct Sales provide mobility and rehabilitation solutions including wheelchairs, scooters and aids to daily living.
A valuable provider of employment in the North East, Peacocks emply over 165 people in their 35,000 sq ft facility in Newcastle. Peacocks have clinics across the UK with branches in Newcastle and Southampton.

Orthotic Services

Peacocks provide orthotic clinical services, orthoses and custom made footwear to clients across the UK.
Within these services we prescribe and provide devices that support, protect or improve the function of a limb or the torso.
Peacocks are at the forefront of orthotic service and manufacture having achieved national and international recognition for our expertise in specilities as diverse as orthopaedics, rhuematology, neurology, paediatrics, diabetes and spinal orthotics.
We have more than 25 Orthotists who attend hospitals and community healthcare locations across the UK and see private clients within private hospitals and clinical suites in Newcastle, Southampton and London.
Our orthotic workshop covers 30,000 square feet and specialises in custom made footwear and orthoses. Our 50 highly skilled technicians have a huge depth of experience across the full spectrum of orthotic products and are supported by the latest design and manufacturing technology from optical scanning to CAD design and laser sintering.
Our procurement and customer service teams are able to complement the Orthotic Service and Workshop by providing a fully managed orthotic service for our large customers allowing them to benefit from our specialist knowledge whilst minimising their costs and administration.

Peacocks Clinical Services is a team of lower limb, foot and whole person Musculoskeletal specialists based at 1a St Thomas Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4LE.
Peacocks clinicians are experienced HPC-registered professionals and specialists in their own fields; working together to form a multi-disciplinary team providing excellence for all your care needs. Our Podiatry practice is a Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Accredited Practice

Peacocks Clinic is accessible via Haymarket Metro (200m), Haymarket and Eldon Square bus terminus (100m and 200m). If arriving by car, there is disabled parking in St Thomas Street; Eldon Garden parking is 150m away and for persons with mobility problems, we have secure parking to the rear by arrangement.
