The management team at Pennine (Elec-Tech) Ltd have a background forged at the prominent Rotherham electrical safety and engineering company; the Lowe Group. Employing the same disciplines of; Customer Focus, Quality Delivery and Innovation that made the Lowe Group successful, Key Directors and Senior Managers have joined together to offer a wider portfolio of safety services with Pennine Health and Safety.

Pennine (Elec-Tech) Ltd operate under the guidance of respected South Yorkshire businessman, Ted Lowe. With over 50 years industrial and management experience in the electrical industry, Ted retired from a large national company after 27 years service and established the Lowe Group. Over 14 years the company grew to employ 230 staff with a turnover of £20m – this attracted the attention of a number of interested parties and part of the business was sold in September 2008. The Lowe Group of Companies continued to trade in association with the Yorkshire Association of Business Angels and a number of investments were made culmanating in a substantial investment in Pennine.

With Director and Senior Management level experience, the remainder of the management team have a broad range of experience and skills. Experience of developing health and safety solutions at a corporate level within blue chip companies is supplemented with significant technical expertise in the fields of electrical safety, machine safety and safety engineering. Application of these skills and our services in a number of different industries including; manufacturing, construction, food processing, utilities and health service has led to an understanding of the different needs of businesses and the frustrations caused by poorly developed systems or training.

Staff at Pennine are recognised professionally in their field by IOSH, Instititution of Engineering and Technology and Institute for Lifelong Learning. In addition the company is a committed member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
