Piano Lessons

I am a fully qualified musician with many years' experience of performing and working with people. My Masters degree in Community Music gave me invaluable experience of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, as I devised workshops and went into schools to help children with musical engagement. I was the postgraduate representative for the Music Education Group whilst studying at University and enjoyed teaching young people about music during various events throughout my time there. I also worked for the London Philharmonic Orchestra for several years after graduating, in an administrative role, which gave me a deeper understanding of the professional world of music as well as giving me the opportunity to attend numerous concerts which opened my eyes and ears to different musical interpretations and ways of creating the best performance possible.

I am happy to teach pupils of all ages, from young children through to adults, and equally I can teach complete beginners through to Grade 8 standard. I am perfectly happy to take you through the traditional exam syllabuses and help you work towards targets, or if you are looking just to have fun and take a more relaxed approach I am equally happy to devise lessons for you in that format.
