Poor Customer Service

Less than 1 minute after paying £6 for my daughter to paint a "Pots For Doodles" pot at a school event, the paper plate containing the paint was lifted by the wind and splattered all over the pot. I asked for another pot, but was refused. I asked for a refund and was refused. I even asked for a 50% refund, but was refused. I explained my daughter was using her birthday money to pay for the pot, but the woman just said "no refunds," "it's not my fault," and said I should have held onto the plate. There was no recognition that supplying paint on paper plates at an outdoor event, without anything to hold them down, wasn't appropriate. It was just a case of "tough!" She even said she wasn't prepared to talk to me any more about it and moved on to another customer. Overall I would say expensive with terrible customer service.
