Pulse Hair - Cardiff

Firstly I have to say that I was very impressed with Donna who put highlights through my hair and was professional and friendly during my 3 hours at the hairdressers as were the other two members of staff on duty. Had my review been based soley on them I would have put 4 stars on the service section and 4 stars overall. However I was very disappointed with the way that the owner added approximatey £7 onto my bill without telling me I had to pay any extra on top of the original £28 that was quoted and was written in their diary . When I questioned this I was told It was because I hadn't been in for a colour patch test beforehand and had to have a different procedure. At no point during my procedure despite doing my initial consultation did the owner mention an increase in price. I also questioned why it wasn't mentioned when booked that I needed a patch test and was told by the owner that I should already have known that I needed one.
