About
D Squadron Queen's Own Yeomanry (QOY) is one of the Army Reserve's light armoured reconnaissance squadrons. D Squadron are based in Newcastle and operate on armoured Landrover vehicles mounted with GPMG and HMG machine guns.
Our reconnaissance soldier's are trained to fight to gain battlefield information day or night and under testing and arduous conditions.
We offer a range of opportunities including driver, gunner, vehicle commander, combat medic, chef and clerks as well as offering driving licences up to C (LGV).
