We offer a range of glass to suit every type of property, from a modern home to an older traditional styled home. The insulating glass units range from one unit which is ultra-thin to upgrade single glazing, to double glazing in older properties, and, to help to retain the aesthetics, a range of double glazed units up to a range of high performance triple glazing. It is even possible to just replace the double glazing units into your existing frames. We use the market leaders in energy efficient glazing to ensure performance is at its highest.

Security is high priority so we use a high security espagnolette system which incorporates a hook and mushroom cam at each locking point, providing enhanced sealing and exceptional security. When the gearbox is operated by one of a vast selection of handles, the hooks are thrown and travel simultaneously with the cams into their striker.
This new security technology has been rigorously tested to ensure that the espagnolette meets the police preferred specification requirements of Secured By Design and enhanced security requirements of BS 7950.

Stairs

At Quest we can manufacture and install any type of staircase from loft conversion winder flights to solid premier grade walnut ‘Zig Zag' staircases that look amazing. We have also been fortunate enough to work on the prestigious Boxmoor Trust project with G.S.Walker Builders Limited and produce a stunning European oak staircase in the main atrium that works its way around a central lift shaft.

Quest undertake full surveys and produce cad drawings prior to commencing works on staircases to ensure they fit effortlessly into their surroundings and are fully functional as well as meeting all required building regulations.

Timber & Finishes

Our experience has seen us produce a variety of windows ranging from solid English oak with a clear spray lacquer finish to treated engineered softwood sprayed with a microporous exterior satin white topcoat. We only use tried and tested finishes to ensure the crafted wooden windows receive the long lasting finish they deserve.

Internal doors – Quest can produce any style of interior door to the highest quality. We can also replicate any existing door so if a client is having a new extension built and would like to match the doors with the rest of the house, or if the property is a listed building, then it can easily be produced by Quest.
