Diabolical

We found this Painter and Decorator online and decided to use him as he was local and charged us a reasonable price for the job. This was the only bit of decorating we have had to get someone in to do for us as we have spent a lot of time and money getting the rest done to as close to perfect as we could and with little experience hanging wall paper we wanted this to look as close to perfect too. What we actually got was SHOCKING, it looked like a 3 year child had done the job, the paper was very expensive and it's been completely wasted and we are probably going to have to rip it all off and start again. The gaps between the paper are very visible there are tear's and chunks of paper missing around the plug sockets. The left side where it has been cut flush against the wall looks like it was cut with a butter knife. In one part of the paper there is a tare an inch long into the paper and a gap and tare about a ¼ of an inch for about 2 foot up along the side of the wall. It's disgusting and if we had have known it was going to be this bad we would have done it ourselves and done a much better job. In the end this has probably cost us about £400 as the paper on the wall now is a waste, we will have to buy more and do it again. I've rang the guy R J COLLY of Kington and he is coming back around tomorrow night to sort it out, not sure what he is going to do as it's such a mess and I can't even begin to describe how angry I am at the waste of £200's worth of paper plus the money we paid for the job £40. I wouldn't have even minded if he's have charged us £80 as long as it was a really good job but it's just diabolical.
