What is a power flush?
Power-flushing is the process by which central heating systems are forcibly cleansed using water and chemicals at high velocity, but low pressure, so that no physical damage is caused to the system, but enough that sludge can be filtered out.

The procedure is made more effective by chemicals and magnets to aid in the cleaning process, once clean you add a chemical called an “inhibitor" that stays in the system and prevents the re-forming of sludge.
