The Robert Burre has reopen after a massive refurbishment yet for all the spent for the disabled people in the community another smack in the face. No ramps in or out, to get in two choices use a manual chair if you got somebody with you ask them as you raise your front grab either side of the doorway and heave up but your only in-between next is the down best way is to bounce down. Getting out repeat of getting in. If your got a power chair go right to side doors in restaurant the staff will open hopefully the doors repeat to get out this is 2016 Yet a refurbished pub yet disabled hard luck no signage for a disabled toilet should I in front of a pub full of people say do you have a disabled toilet? Tons of staff by the way my wife asked for plain crisps none only other flavours This was a pub full of character had a good singer really a pub that was the type you enjoyed going into. Yes it needed a refurbishment and yes looks great tasty but other than that nothing special

The Robert Burr is a small and rather pleasant looking pub on the outskirts of Clacton (near the factory shopping village, if you want to go for a quick shop after). It has not ever appeared to be very busy when I have been there in the past, but it seems to be pleasant enough. Staff have always been fairly friendly, and I have had a quick bite to eat there a few times. The food will not blow you away, but it will keep you going if your tummy is rumbling. Very nice sitting outside and having a pint in the sun though, and they have a little play area to the keep the kids entertained for a bit.

The robert burr is situated on burrs road, just befoer the industrial estate and near to the shopping village. The pub itself is popular and it has a good sized outdoor play area so that your kids can be entertained and has plenty of benches outside, to sit on on a nice sunny day. It used to have a really good restaurant, but not so sure if that is still the case. I do know that on the sundays there is often live music which is the usual light pub style stuff, but usually it is quite good. There is a pool table too. There are quite a lot of regulars who sit up at the bar, which like the rest of the pub is quite small but cosy especially in the winter. Give it a try, its not bad.

The robert burre is in clacton in an area of town known as burrsville, it is a nice area and the pub is set back from the road in side a gated garden with a lovely white picket fence. The beer garden is really nice in summer and has a small play area with a tree house and a slide and also a rope climbing area which children enjoy playing on very much. The pub has a lot of regular clients and is very popular on sunday lunch times, especially if the weather is good. Have been regularly over the years and the place has not really changed at all, the huge and beautiful tree in the garden is nice and shady to sit under in the summer time and there is parking across the road for your car if needed.
