Very disappointing. I had asked for a quote to recover 2 sofas. While they were there they asked if we had any other old furniture. They spotted a chair, which I was not sure whether to keep or not and they offered to take it away and use as an upholstery project. A few weeks later, I emailed to ask if o could pay to have the chair upholstered as it had sentimental value, to be told, it had been sold to a family. It turns out the chair was quite valuable and so I am very sad to think that a seemingly friendly, local business was not honest and did not advise me to keep the chair and have it redone rather than whisk it away.

making amends
Robert Moodie is trying to make amends by calling us back (hurrah) and offering to get them done in record time of one week. Hopefully be able to offer a better result in a week or so. (First time online complainer)

Sadly Awful Service
Apparently very good at his job, but sadly i will never know because my job was meant to be done by now, 'it will take about 2 months' he told me back in March (FOUR MONTHS AGO) and we are now in july, and not only did he lose my fabric sample (which I reluctantly gave him, and have no idea where to start looking again as I choose lots of materials from online with no reference of what it was), he never phoned to tell me, (I had to phone him) he didn;t apologise and he also told me it would be delayed. Like a MUG i said well continue and order the fabric for the other chairs. To this day we are meant to be moving house tomorrow with 4 beautifully upholstered items to move in with, and they are still sitting here uncovered as he hasn't even picked them up or replied to my message days ago. Extremely bad service. Very disappointed. Have bought the fabric, but will take my business elsewhere.
