A lovely place to eat
We ate at The Roman after a very long drive on a rainy Sunday afternoon and it was a welcome retreat! There were warm blazing fires and lots of differently decorated areas in which to sit. The decor was very clean and modern. The staff were really friendly and greeted us when we arrived and were welcoming towards our youngs son. The food was really nice and tasted very fresh after a reassuring wait time (who wants their food at the ping of a microwave??!). We didn't know The Roman was there but we will definately visit again the next time we make the same journey. We would recommend to anyone.
