This is the archetypal small regulars pub with a seperate bar and lounge area. The lounge area is plush and full of velvet and the older punters drink in there. The bar side has a pool table and is a little run down decor wise. They do have live entertainment every day of the week though - karaoke and irish singers etc.The landlord and landlady are really really friendly and they make everyone welcome. It is a bit 'spit and sawdust' and not really one for holiday makers. It is situated in Hele village which is a slightly less salubrious part of town but the drinks are reasonably priced. Not easy to park but not impossible.
