Our family have been crafting memorials in the Manchester area for five generations. Samuel Critchley together with his son Arthur started our family business in Salford at the end of the 1800's. That we still make memorials today is surely evidence that over the intervening period we must have been doing something right. We currently have three generations, Cyril, Mike and Rob, working in the business with over 115 years of experience between them! We have won awards for our skills in lettering and design at the national Craftex competition. Our staff will guide you step by step through the process of buying a memorial and there is always a member of the family on hand to help you with technical and design advice.
