Special Bed and Breakfast in the Scottish Borders

Saughtree Old Manse is a 19th century former manse which has been refurbished by ourselves, Paul and Doreen, to provide a peaceful, spacious and comfortable home to which we welcome bed and breakfast guests.

The small hamlet of Saughtree lies in beautiful Liddesdale in the Scottish Borders, 7 miles north of Kielder Water and the observatory; and 8 miles north-east of the pleasant village of Newcastleton.

Picturesque border towns of Hawick, Jedburgh, Kelso and Melrose are within easy reach, as is the Northumberland National park and Hadrian's Wall.

Carlisle and Hexham are both a pleasant one hour drive away, Newcastle and Edinburgh are around 90 minutes.

Liddesdale is ideal countryside for walking, cycling, motorcycling, motoring and getting away from it all.
