What happened guys?
I have been using scream studios for 8 years and I'm afraid that it seems like they have just given up. For rehearsals - after the first 2 hours are lost finding amps//cable/mic stands (!) that actually work all is fine, but I lose too much money trying to fix problems that shouldn't exist in the first place. The service - The people that work there are friendly but they are never around! Again,. another 30 mins was wasted during the rehearsal waiting for someone to turn up at reception. Madness. Recording studio - I have only used the recording studio a couple of times but have never been impressed. Again the people are lovely but everything I've had recorded and mixed there just sounds "dark"..There is another studio upstairs which is new and I've heard good things about but their information doesn't seem to be on the scream website. Cafe - The cafe is awesome. Pete (the owner) is friendly and the food is tasty if a little overpriced, but I always leave full. Overall - Scream could be an amazing place but it really feels like they've given up. They should have less staff. 10 average staff don't compare to 2 trained and committed members of staff who actually want to do the job. I will be coming back...but only because I have to.

SO much potential..but just not good enough.
Had a rehearsal booked in. When we got there none of the kit worked. The mics they provided didn't work straight away. Noone was on reception when we arrived. Just a lack of personal touches. When we were helped the staff were great, but you couldn't even tell they worked there as they had no uniform or anything! So much potential...but lacking something. They have a recording studio downstairs but nothing sounds that great. There is another studio upstairs that sounds a lot better but they don't market it enough. We'll be finding a new rehearsal space unless things change. Lovely people. Bad company.
