Pressure sale

I rang up and asked for a quote for all the windows and doors in our house. Within 3 hours there was someone available and they came round so can't fault the prompt response. Didn't seem to want to sell me triple glazing, ended up arguing that it was better than double glazing and due to the size of windows (especially the lounge) we would see a benefit of it. I fully understand the extra cost but am prepared to pay for this for extra comfort and noise reduction that it would bring. Don't argue with the customer if they specifically want something. Then it came to the pricing up time, I was told the list price of £23,000, how did that sound? Erm, I don't care how that sounds, I want to know what your going to charge me!? The price then came down to £13,000, that's still nowhere near another quote we had, so then (after a call to the boss) it came down to £6800. Hold on a minute, you can suddenly half the price!? Then we had the price can only be held for today story, with a lot of pressure to sign up now. Sorry, but if you want my business you will hold it for longer than that. I hate it when people say "no obligation quote" then try and insult me by making being able to knock a "good price" down by almost another 50%. Would not entertain another visit from them.
