SHB Hire Ltd, a family owned business, has over 46 years' experience of hiring and managing vehicles. We currently have a diverse fleet of over 13,500 vehicles, from cars, light commercials, 4x4s, HGVs to specialist units. The importance of customer satisfaction and feedback ensures we work as a business to continuously improve and deliver the very highest standards. SHB have one of the most diverse rental fleets in the UK today which is supported by team members specialising in various fields and market sectors. In the event we haven't got the vehicle to meet your specification then we will work with you to design, and build your requirements utilising strong relationships with key manufacturers.
We specialise in tailored flexible solutions offering spot, flexi and contract hire, buy and lease back options, new and older fleet and we will work with clients on any shared locations, workshop management and TUPE of staff as a contract requires.
We currently operate out of 14 key locations covering the UK. We are also looking to increase our depots in London and the North of Scotland. We operate a “fluid" fleet so we can ensure that in the event your local branch hasn't got availability we can provide vehicles from any location within the UK via our in house logistics operation.
Our dedicated team of over 55 mobile technicians carry out on-site repairs and maintenance to our rental fleet and to client owned assets where required which assists in reducing vehicle downtime. We are authorised by leading manufacturers to carry out our own servicing and warranty work and many of our vehicles carry vehicle diagnostic systems enabling us to repair vehicles that would otherwise require dealer attention. Our local depots also have full workshop facilities providing full servicing, inspections, repairs, MOT's and major breakdown work.
Our Fleet Solutions team are able to offer consultancy, basic fleet management packages to full fleet management outsourcing and workshop management.
