Great all rounder
This really is a pleasant place to go on a Sunday afternoon. After browsing round the shops go for a drink on the balcony and chill out. The food is ok and very basic, fish and chips, burger and chips that sort of thing. Not the best place to eat but let's remember this is a large chain, would say its better than Witherspoons. The menu isn't the largest but it's totally sufficient. This really is a nice place to chill out at on a lazy afternoon. It's right next to the Spinnaker Tower. Like most places in GunWarf it gets really busy outside in the summer

Night out
A very enjoyable evening out can be had here- it is a pub/bar laid out on two floors with plenty of outside seating for groups. There is a stunning view across Portsmouth Harbour. It has a romantic and yet lively atmosphere- the place attracts people who want to have fun. There is a good selection of beer and wine and a very nice cocktail menu. There is also food - in fact a new autumn/winter menu has just arrived. There is a good range of hot food and main meals and lighter snack options. I would recommend registering on the website to make sure you take full advantage of all offers available

Unusual name, great food
I think the name of this place put me off to start with, it doesn't exactly sell itself! However once you get over the place really does draw you in and you end up having a fantastic time. The decoration of the place is really good, cosy and romantic, yet cool and intelligent. Hard to pull off but they manage it! The service is also excellent, you are treated well and actually cared for which is unusual! The choice of food is also good and well recommended. It also tastes delicious (and yes, i did check the salad for slugs!) Price is also cheap for what you get so i'd thoroughly recommend it!

what is in a name
Ooh slug and lettuce hope that is not on the menu. Only kidding it is a nice friendly place, with good staff and fair prices, I like it more for drinks than for food though. The burgers are good and usually what people go for but there are other things on the menu. The vege and hot brie baguette is a good on to choose. On fridays from 5pm till closing time, I think they offer a cheap bottle of champagne for £20 which is excellent and the prices of their pitcher drinks are good too.

This is a great pub in the heart of Gunwharf Quays. It's laid out on two floors with outside seating both upstairs and down. It's located right on the water front so the views are quite romantic in the evening. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The place stocks all the usual drink you;d expect and has a fantastic cocktail menu. THe food menu is also very good - a nice range of snacks and more filling dishes. There are often offers on like bottles of wine discounted to £12 on wednesdays. it's worth checking out the website for all of the latest deals.
